What we are looking for
We’re looking for a motivated Stores Employee to be a key part of our Base Maintenance Facility in Altenrhein. In this hands-on role, you’ll handle aircraft parts, tools, and materials efficiently and safely - including Dangerous Goods - ensuring our maintenance teams have what they need, when they need it.
Your main tasks
- Receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming goods in accordance with aviation standards
- Storing and shipping materials and components
- Picking and preparing items for production orders, maintenance, and customer service
- Packing, consolidating, and loading shipments for air, sea, and road transport
- Maintaining accurate inventory levels and storage times, including conducting regular stock counts
- Operating warehouse management systems and ensuring reliable documentation (ERP systems)
- Managing tools and equipment, including issuance, inspection, and periodic inventory
- Supporting minor maintenance work on electric warehouse vehicles (e.g., battery checks)
- Preparing internal and external shipping and export documents and ensuring compliance with dangerous goods regulations
- Supporting all warehouse and shipping processes as required
- Professional communication in German and English
Your qualifications
- Completed vocational training in logistics, warehouse operations, or an equivalent qualification
- More than 3 years of professional experience in logistics within a technical environment
- Knowledge of handling dangerous goods (Category C hazardous materials license is an advantage)
- Experience in the aviation industry, particularly in handling aircraft parts, is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken (minimum level B2)
- Solid computer skills (MS Office and warehouse/ERP systems)
- Reliable, precise, and independent working style
- Flexible, team-oriented personality with a proactive approach to work
